
Nationals manager Davey Johnson said Friday that Jordan Zimmermann is experiencing the familiar symptoms of "dead arm" at this point in the Spring, but that it was nothing to worry about.
While most pitchers experience this sort of thing every spring, it could be something to monitor as the 26-year old righty saw a 34 inning increase last season. His velocity has been sitting in its normal range this spring, but he's lacked command on most of his pitches.
