Lawrie tweaks side in Canada exhibition game

Brett Lawrie left Wednesday's exhibition game for Canada after three innings after he felt a minor twinge in his side.
Canada manager Ernie Whitt said Lawrie will be reevaluated on Thursday, but he didn't rule out the possibility that he could miss Friday's opener against Italy. "We'll see how he feels (Thursday)," said Whitt. "It's a wait and see right now." For what it's worth, Lawrie dealt with an oblique injury last season.
