Kelvim Escobar was diagnosed Tuesday in Brewers camp with a nerve impingement in his right hand.
Escobar had to cut short his Cactus League debut on Sunday after experiencing a sudden rush of weakness in his pitching hand. "It could have been worse," the veteran right-hander told reporters on Tuesday evening. "[The doctor] checked my shoulder, my elbow, my neck, and everything was fine. He thinks it's a nerve that's not firing."
