Dan Straily allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings against the Angels on Monday.
Straily gave up four hits while walking none and striking out a pair. Things looked bleak after he allowed the first three batters to reach in the first inning, but he managed to prevent a big inning. The 24-year-old right-hander is expected to begin the year in the A's rotation, but chances are he'll head back to the minors once Bartolo Colon is done serving the final five games of his suspension. As a result, he's a risky fantasy property out of the gate.
