Bronson Arroyo allowed two runs on five hits in his first Cactus League start Saturday.
The good news for the veteran right-hander is he didn't allow any walks and struck out one batter in his two innings. Arroyo's success relies on control, so Saturday's showing was a positive from that standpoint. After dealing with some flu-like symptoms when camp opened, Arroyo should be fine for the start of the season.
