Stauffer (elbow) feels great after debut

Tim Stauffer (elbow) suffered no setback and said that he felt great after his inning of work on Thursday.
Stauffer, who is recovering from an August surgery to repair a flexor tendon in his right elbow, is progressing nicely and could be ready to join the Padres' rotation for the start of the regular season. The 30-year-old right-hander is a name to remember in the later stages of fantasy drafts, especially for his home starts in the friendly confines of Petco Park.
