Latos fires two shutout innings vs. Royals

Mat Latos hurled two scoreless frames against the Royals on Friday.
Latos gave up a hit and two walks while striking out one batter. He threw 17 out of 29 pitches for strikes and settled down nicely after the first couple of batters, which isn't unexpected given that it was his first outing of the spring. The 25-year-old right-hander was excellent in his first season in Cincinnati last year and should be drafted inside the top 30 pitchers in mixed leagues this spring.
