Falcons 'do not intend' to use franchise tag

CBS' Jason La Canfora confirms the Falcons "do not intend" to use the franchise tag.
There have been varying reports on the Falcons' intent for the tag, but it's looking safe to assume they won't apply it ahead of Monday's deadline. The Falcons are now nearly $16 million under the cap after releasing Michael Turner, John Abraham and Dunta Robinson, so the space is there if they change their mind. SS William Moore is the most obvious candidate.
