Matt Garza (lat) likely to open season on DL?

Matt Garza (lat) indicated Thursday that he is likely to open the season on the disabled list.
Garza suffered a lat strain a few weeks ago and is working back slowly, having just resuming playing catch Thursday. "The schedule is not for opening day or opening week," he said. "The schedule is when my body is ready. I'm not going to rush this thing." The Cubs are expected to use Garza as trade bait this summer and will want him as healthy as possible, but they haven't ruled him out for Opening Day.
