Matt Garza to resume throwing on Thursday

Matt Garza (lat strain) is expected to resume throwing on Thursday.
The right-hander has been dealing with a lat strain early on in camp but is obviously feeling much better now. Garza is also coming back from a stress reaction in his pitching elbow, but it doesn't sound like that's really a concern at this point. The Cubs expect him to have enough time to get ready for Opening Day as long as he can avoid further setbacks.
