Giants re-up LT Beatty for five years, $38.8M

Giants re-signed LT Will Beatty to a five-year, $38.75 million contract.
The deal includes a $12.5 million signing bonus, and $19 million guaranteed. It's a nice haul for a player who finally stayed healthy last season after missing 14 combined games between 2010-11. Three days shy of his 28th birthday, Beatty allowed just three sacks and 22 hurries in 967 snaps last season. He was never expected to reach free agency. With Beatty locked up for $7.75 million annually, Branden Albert and Jake Long will both target at least $8 million a year.
