Chad Cordero makes Cactus League debut

Chad Cordero hit 91 mph with his fastball Monday in his Cactus League debut with the Angels.
Cordero surrendered a home run to light-hitting shortstop Brendan Ryan, but he retired the other three Mariners hitters he faced. The 30-year-old right-hander hasn't appeared in the major leagues since 2010, primarily because of shoulder problems. He is likely to open the 2013 season at Triple-A.
