Matt Cain was credited with four unearned runs over one inning in his start Sunday against the Cubs.
Cain was struck by a comebacker off his right knee early in the game, but was allowed to finish before the Giants decided to take him out. None of his runs were earned, though Cain badly missed his spot on a three-run homer to Dioner Navarro. According to CSN Bay Area's Andrew Baggarly, Cain expects to make his next start and doesn't anticipate missing any time.
