Zimmerman (shoulder) to DH early in spring

Nationals manager Davey Johnson said Tuesday that he plans to use Ryan Zimmerman out of the DH spot in the early part of the Grapefruit League schedule as he works his way back from shoulder surgery.
Per Amanda Comak of the Washington Times, Zimmerman is still probably about two weeks away from doing regular drills with throwing, but he could begin hitting on the field by the end of the week. Still, the Nationals anticipate that he'll be ready for Opening Day.
