Derek Jeter to be used more in DH spot

Yankees manager Joe Girardi plans to occasionally start Derek Jeter (ankle) in the designated hitter slot against left-handers this season.
It makes sense not only because it will allow Jeter some rest for his surgically-repaired ankle, but also because the team's primary DH, Travis Hafner, isn't nearly as good against lefties. Eduardo Nunez will play shortstop when Jeter is the DH.
