Chiefs GM: No clear-cut 1st-round QB in draft
Geno Smith - QB - College Player
Feb. 17, 2013 - 1:35 PM ET

Chiefs GM John Dorsey says there is no "clear-cut guy" at quarterback that has separated himself as a first-round pick.

"There is no quarterback where personnel guys can definitely say, 'He's a first-round pick,'" Dorsey said. "There were so many inconsistencies in the collective group. There was not one guy that stood up and said, 'I'm the guy in the position this year.'" Geno Smith is widely regarded as the top quarterback, but there are others who prefer Matt Barkley, Mike Glennon, Ryan Nassib, or Tyler Wilson. The Kansas City Star says the Chiefs are "more likely" to draft a signal caller at the back of the draft than at No. 1 overall -- if they even take a quarterback at all.
