Helton makes it through first spring workout

Todd Helton worked out and took batting practice for the first time this spring on Saturday, and didn't experience any issues or setbacks.
The 39-year-old is trying to make his way back from hip and knee surgeries from a season ago. As long as he's healthy, he's expected to get regular playing time at first base for the Rockies, but it's very unlikely that he gets enough at-bats to be relevant in fantasy leagues.
