Feb. 15, 2013 - 10:35 PM ET

NFL Network's Mike Mayock has released his preliminary 2013 NFL draft prospect rankings and has Alabama's Eddie Lacy as the No. 1 running back.

Mayock has Montee Ball No. 2, followed by Clemson's Andre Ellington, UNC's Giovani Bernard, and South Carolina's Marcus Lattimore, respectively. Mayock's top draft-eligible receiver is Cordarrelle Patterson (Tennessee), with Cal's Keenan Allen second, Baylor's Terrence Williams third, and West Virginia's Tavon Austin fourth. Mayock has Geno Smith (West Virginia) as the top quarterback, with Matt Barkley (USC) second and Mike Glennon (NC State) third. Mayock will tweak the rankings as he watches more tape throughout "draft season."
