Dustin McGowan isn't alarmed after he experienced some shoulder soreness while throwing off flat ground on Tuesday.
"I don't think it's a big deal," said McGowan. "I came in a little sore from throwing, so that's the safe thing to do -- just let it get out of there and then continue to go on after that." The 30-year old is undoubtedly anxious to get back to action. McGowan didn't pitch at all in 2012 and has thrown more than 112 innings just once since 2005. There's no timetable for him to resume throwing.
