Felix got 'clean bill of health' from doctors

Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said Wednesday that Felix Hernandez got a "clean bill of health" during the pre-signing physical for his $175 million contract extension.
So all that talk about an elbow issue must have been a negotiating ploy on the Mariners' part. The seven-year, $175 million pact was officially announced on Wednesday afternoon at Seattle's Safeco Field. "King Felix" is now the highest-paid pitcher in baseball history.
