Baker would like Cueto to skip WBC

Reds manager Dusty Baker said Wednesday that he would prefer Johnny Cueto not pitch for the Dominican Republic in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
"Well, not especially," said Baker. "I can understand the pressure that comes from being from Latin America. There's more national pride than anywhere I've almost seen." It's certainly not surprising that Baker would rather have Cueto in camp with the team as opposed to pitching in the WBC, but he might not get his way.
