MRI on Madson's elbow comes back clean

An MRI on Ryan Madson's right elbow came back clean.
Great news for Madson, who hasn't thrown in nearly two weeks due to soreness in his surgically-repaired elbow. He'll be re-evaluated in a week to see if he can start throwing again, but fortunately for the Angels, it's not a major setback. Still, it's unlikely he'll be ready for the season at this point, so Ernesto Frieri figures to get the early save chances.
