Justin Miller throws from mound

Justin Miller (elbow) threw off a mound Tuesday for the first time since last April's Tommy John surgery.
Miller is on the same schedule as Joakim Soria, which means he probably won't be ready to appear in games until late May. The 25-year-old pitched the 2011 season at Double-A before missing all of 2012, so he'll be sent down once healthy but could be an option for the Rangers' bullpen eventually.
