Reds and RHP Mat Latos avoided arbitration Tuesday by agreeing to a two-year, $11.5 million contract.
Mark Sheldon of MLB.com passed along the contract terms. Latos was arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter after posting a 3.48 ERA and 185/64 K/BB ratio over 209 1/3 innings last season. He remains under team control through 2015.
