Longoria expects to be ready for Opening Day

Evan Longoria (hamstring) said Tuesday that there's no timetable for him to play his first Grapefruit League game, but that he should be ready for Opening Day.
Longoria underwent a minor procedure in November to clean up his left hamstring and is already feeling much better. "Two weeks after surgery I was feeling like a new man," said Longoria. The 27-year-old was limited to just 74 games last season, but we wouldn't hesitate dropping a second-round pick on him in standard mixed leagues.
