Verlander to start Opening Day for Tigers

Tigers manager Jim Leyland said Tuesday that Justin Verlander will start Opening Day against the Twins.
That must have been a tough choice. Verlander was the runner-up to David Price in the AL Cy Young balloting last year after posting a 2.64 ERA and 239/60 K/BB ratio over 238 1/3 innings. He and Clayton Kershaw should be the first pitchers off the board in fantasy drafts this spring.
