Hill inks 3-year, $35M extension with D'Backs
Aaron Hill - 2B - Arizona Diamondbacks
Feb. 8, 2013 - 10:50 AM ET

ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Diamondbacks have finalized a three-year, $35 million extension with Aaron Hill.

Olney says the deal will be officially announced later Friday. It's a nice salary bump for Hill, who will make $5.5 million in 2013 in what would have been his final season before free agency. He earned the new deal after batting .302/.360/.522 with 26 home runs, 85 RBI and 14 stolen bases in 156 games last season for the Snakes.
