Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun writes that it's "becoming increasingly unclear whether the one-year deal between Jair Jurrjens and the Orioles will come to fruition."
Encina adds that Jurrjens' physical "has become a week-long process and it doesn't seem like it's heading in a positive direction." The main concern is with the strength of Jurrjens' right knee, which he had surgically-repaired in October of 2010 but has still bothered him over the last couple years. If the two sides can work things out, Jurrjens is expected to receive a one-year, $1.5 million deal which could max out at $4 million with incentives.
