Jake Peavy strives to be even better in 2013

Jake Peavy overcame his shoulder injuries to toss 219 innings over 32 starts, and strives to be even better during the 2013 season.
Peavy, who inked a two-year, $29 million contract this offseason, believes that he'll be even stronger being another year removed from his surgery. His velocity never fully returned in 2012, though he proved his durability did return. Finally healthy, Peavy believes that he still has a lot to prove and is extremely motivated heading into 2013.
