Leathersich could see time with Mets in 2013

Mets assistant GM J.P. Ricciardi believes that Jack Leathersich could be a candidate for the bullpen at some point during the 2013 season.
Leathersich, a fifth-round selection from the 2011 draft, posted a 3.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 113/32 K/BB ratio over 72 innings in Single-A last season. His strikeout ability and success against lefties could make him an attractive option as a left-handed specialist out of the New York 'pen.
