Report: Mets interested in Roy Oswalt

ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports that the Mets have shown interest in free agent Roy Oswalt.
The Mets agreed to terms with Shaun Marcum earlier this week, but a source tells Rubin that they haven't ruled out adding Oswalt to their starting rotation mix. The 35-year-old went 4-3 with a 5.80 ERA in 17 appearances (nine starts) with the Rangers in 2012 while dealing with injuries down the stretch. According to Newsday's Marc Carig, Oswalt's agent "isn't aware of any interest" from the Mets.
