Prado heads to Arizona in Justin Upton trade
Martin Prado - 3B - Arizona Diamondbacks
Jan. 24, 2013 - 1:30 PM ET

Diamondbacks acquired 3B Martin Prado from the Braves in the seven-player Justin Upton trade.

Prado is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2013 season but the Snakes have already begun negotiations toward a long-term contract extension. The dynamic 29-year-old hit .301/.359/.438 with 10 home runs, 70 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 156 games last season for the Braves. He's a .319/.370/.447 career hitter at Arizona's Chase Field and should carry a ton of fantasy value this summer.
