Ravens announce Caldwell will be back for '13
Ravens Offense - TM - Baltimore Ravens
Jan. 23, 2013 - 11:40 PM ET

The Ravens have removed the "interim" tag from OC Jim Caldwell's title.

Cam Cameron's midseason replacement will officially be back for 2013. The Ravens have also hired former Eagles DC/OL coach Juan Castillo as their run-game coordinator. Caldwell's return became a formality after the Ravens offense morphed from plodding and predictable to aggressive and consistently productive under his watch. Caldwell has adopted an attacking approach with big-armed QB Joe Flacco, and has taken to spelling Ray Rice often with electric rookie Bernard Pierce. With an entire offseason to shed Cameron's ways coming up after the Super Bowl, Baltimore's arsenal of skill players should be considered "on the rise" for 2013.
