Garcon 'leaning' toward rest over surgery
Pierre Garcon - WR - Washington Redskins
Jan. 21, 2013 - 4:40 PM ET

Pierre Garcon (foot) is "leaning" toward rest over surgery.

The report comes via a "person with knowledge of (Garcon's) health." Garcon will reportedly make a final decision in the "coming weeks." Surgery would sideline Garcon for 3-4 months, and reportedly "offer no guarantee of fixing the issue." Garcon tore ligaments in his right foot in Week 1, and was limited to 10 games his first season in Washington. Even if Garcon decides against surgery now, there's no guarantee he won't have to go under the knife somewhere down the road. It's a situation to monitor in Dynasty leagues.
