According to the Miami Herald, Freddy Garcia has expressed interest in playing for the Marlins.
Garcia has been linked to the Twins and Rockies so far this offseason, and is marketing himself as both a starting pitcher and reliever. He posted a 5.20 ERA in 30 appearances (17 starts) with the Yankees in 2012. While the Marlins don't currently have a spot for him in their rotation, he could provide long relief and serve as insurance behind Nathan Eovaldi and Jacob Turner.
