Mets and 1B Ike Davis avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract.

The exact financial terms aren't available, but ESPN's Adam Rubin reports that the deal is expected to be around $3.125 million. Davis, who bounced back from a slow start last season to hit 32 homers, was arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter. He remains under team control through 2016.
