Murphy, Rangers heading to arbitration

David Murphy requested $6.5 million and was offered $5.05 million from the Rangers when arbitration figures were exchanged Friday.
It was the third time that Murphy was arbitration eligible. The 31-year-old outfielder looks primed to step into a starting role in the Rangers outfield in 2013, and fantasy leaguers should take note of his double digit potential in power and speed.
