Callaspo gets 2-yr, $8.975M deal from Angels

Angels and 3B Alberto Callaspo avoided arbitration by agreeing to a two-year, $8.975 million contract.
The deal covers the third baseman's final year of arbitration eligibility and his first year of free agency. Callaspo, 29, hit .252/.331/.361 with 10 home runs and 53 RBI in 138 games last season for the Angels. He may carry fantasy value this summer in deeper mixed formats.
