Gallardo to play for Mexico in WBC

Yovani Gallardo will play for Mexico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
Gallardo was on Mexico's preliminary roster in 2009, but eventually withdrew because he was coming off a year where he missed most of the season following knee surgery. The Brewers will be well represented at the World Baseball Classic, as Martin Maldonado is tabbed to play for Puerto Rico, Ryan Braun and Jonathan Lucroy will play for Team USA and John Axford, Jim Henderson and Taylor Green will suit up for Canada.
