Grady Sizemore (knee) doesn't plan to sign with a team until he is ready to play in live games.
"It could be Opening Day. It could be midseason," agent Joe Urbon told FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal on Monday. "Midseason is more likely." Sizemore, 30, underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee in September. The outfielder hasn't appeared in a major league game since the final month of the 2011 regular season.
