SI's Pete Thamel reports that Penn State is "in the midst of a massive push to keep" head coach Bill O'Brien and has "received positive indications that he's strongly considering staying."
This is all according to a source. That source adds that Penn State is "tugging at O'Brien's heartstrings and attachment to the school that gave him his break to be a head coach." The Cleveland Plain Dealer has reported that the Browns already interviewed O'Brien for their head-coaching vacancy this week, and he is viewed as the team's top fallback option if they miss out on Chip Kelly. O'Brien is on the radar of the Chargers, Cardinals, and Eagles also. The growing sense is that O'Brien remains in Happy Valley with the Nittany Lions.
