Orioles have interest in Justin Smoak

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that the Orioles have "some interest" in Justin Smoak.
The Mariners could consider dealing Smoak following the addition of Kendrys Morales. Though the former top prospect has disappointed so far, he did finish strong this past season, batting .288/.375/.475 with six homers over his final 42 contests. The Orioles could use him at first base or in the DH slot.
