FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Rangers remain interested in trading for Justin Upton.
The Diamondbacks are expected to trade an outfielder after their signing of Cody Ross, and while Jason Kubel is the most likely to be moved, the Rangers haven't given up on a deal for Upton. Coming off a down season, Upton will earn $9.75 million in 2012 and more than $14 million in each of the final two years of his contract. With Arizona no longer having a need for Elvis Andrus or Jurickson Profar, however, it would be hard to see him going to the Rangers.
