Jays closing in on trade for R.A. Dickey

Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports the Blue Jays are "inching towards the finish line" in their trade for R.A. Dickey.
Passan confirms that Dickey and Travis d'Arnaud are the centerpieces of the trade and that the other players involved remain unknown. Assuming they can agree on the final pieces, it's believed that Dickey is willing to sign an extension with Toronto. The New York Post's Mike Puma hears that prospect right-hander Noah Syndergaard is being discussed in a return package from the Jays.
