CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Indians have signed Mark Reynolds to a one-year, $6 million contract.
The deal includes an additional $1.5 million available through incentives. According to Heyman, the Indians plan to go into spring training with Lonnie Chisenhall at third base, so this likely rules them out for free agent Kevin Youkilis. Reynolds, 29, hit .221/.335/.429 with 23 homers and 69 RBI in 135 games last year for the Orioles. He'll open the 2013 season as Cleveland's everyday first baseman.
