Records start to fall for RG3
Robert Griffin III - QB - Washington Redskins
Dec. 6, 2012 - 10:55 AM ET

Robert Griffin III has set the single-season record for rushing yards by a rookie quarterback.

Griffin has run for 714 yards in just 12 games, breaking the previous record of 706 set by Cam Newton last season. It's a jaw-dropping pace, especially considering RG3 has thrown 17 touchdowns against just four interceptions and is averaging 221.6 passing yards per game. He's fantasy's No. 1 quarterback right now, well ahead of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning.
