Evan Longoria has minor hamstring surgery

Evan Longoria underwent a minor procedure on his left hamstring on November 20.
The Rays made the revelation on the same day they announced they had signed Longoria to an extension through the 2022 season. The third baseman is fully expected to be ready to roll by the time spring training comes around. Longoria, of course, missed much of the 2012 campaign due to a hamstring issue.
