Braves purchased the contract of RHP David Hale from Double-A Mississippi.
Hale was used exclusively as a starter this season, posting a 3.77 ERA and 124/67 K/BB ratio over 145 2/3 innings. His peripherals haven't been overwhelming over his first four seasons in pro ball, but the 25-year-old has a good arm and could eventually be a weapon out of the bullpen.
