Wagner off to Colonial after Open qualifier

Johnson Wagner tees it up in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial this week.
It's already been a fulfilling week for Wagner, who grabbed one of the eight spots available in the qualifier for The Open Championship on Monday. Chances are, it may be the highlight of his week. In four previous trips to Colonial, he has three missed cuts and a T46 to show for his troubles. Couple that with the fact he's missed his last three cuts and you don't have a formula for optimism.
