According to to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Mets plan to offer R.A. Dickey a two-year contract extension.

Financial terms aren't yet known, but Rosenthal writes that Dickey is seeking at least $20 million for two years. The reigning NL Cy Young, Dickey is under contract for $5 million in 2013 and recently said he's "fairly confident" he'll be back. The Mets haven't ruled out trading Dickey this offseason if an extension isn't worked out.
